30 Weeks

Woohoo! I am almost down to single digit weeks! It feels good other than the unplesant heartburn I have been experiencing. Sadly I was always told that heartburn was a "burning" feeling. Aparently not to me. Its only annoying and uncomfortable. Now I know that's actually what it is I can finally battle it with some Tums. So here I am in all my pregnant glory.. which I have to say is MUCH better than when I was preggo with Ike.. click here to see that Just look how much weight I was carrying with Ike in my face and arms! UGH! Gladly I have only gained 8 pounds so far with this little girl. And hopefully she will be more petite than Ike was too. And happy for me this time around I am still in pre pregnancy jeans and can still button and zip them and wear my belt (for the most part) on the tightest hole. (which is what it was pre preggo) So I am truly happy for that. I have been watching what I eat this time around and I run after Isaac which helps keep the weight off thankfully. I'm still feeling really good and am not too uncomfortable. Its getting hard to tie my shoes so I'm glad that its time for flip flops... my favorite. AND here is probably the best thing that happened this week.. I finally picked a name for this munchkin! Her name will be Chloe Mecham. ( still no middle name yet.. I haven't finished deciding.... it will come soon hopefully now we have a first name.) Also I finished the crib set TODAY!!! Pics to come either today or tomorrow.. Its already on the crib and Ike is taking a nap so I willl get some pics and post them as soon as possible! I love how it turned out and I can't wait to do everything else I want now. This is a conversation JC and I had 2 days ago JC (seeing me amid tons of fabric thread and my sewing machine as I am furiously sewing the crib set: "Nesting NESTING NESTING!!!!!" ME: "I am not nesting" JC: "Really then what are you doing right now" Me: "Getting this crib set done so I can be ready for this baby!" (long pause as I think...) "Oh.. you're right." Nesting has already hit me pretty hard with Chloe coming in just a few short weeks. I have been cleaning a lot and Sewing like mad every single day. I have so many projects I want to do and I know that I wont get anything done right after she is born so I need to do it all now. I have also been organizing all Ike's clothes getting the summer ones out so I don't have to later and going through our closet getting rid of things we don't need/use anymore. And I made JC organize a bunch of his stuff... My poor family.. How are they going to live with me for 10 more weeks like this?? I don't really remember nesting a whole lot with Ike.. mostly due to the fact that we was about 2 weeks early and I didn't even have my hospital bag out let alone packed for him till we were headed to the hospital. what do you do?? Not much I guess. JC and Ike will just have to deal with my crazy nesting habits and it will be nice and sparkly when this baby gets here!
