Quiet Book

Finally another craft DONE! This week has been very fulfilling craft wise. This is also another thing we had growing up as kids. My mom made a quiet book for us and it was amazing and I decided I needed one too. I personalized it to Isaac and luckily I can add pages if I want. There are several other pages I want to do but I wanted to get a good basis done first. And I have one other page that I don't have a picture of yet because I have to sew it to another page. So pics will come later. And maybe I will have more pages done then too. (after I get the crib set done!) So here is our peek -a-boo penguin... Ike loves penguins

This is a page that was in our quiet book as kids. (As a lot of them are)

This has got to be my favorite page of the whole book. Ike is obsessed with fish right now and he was SO excited to see that he could catch them in a net and put them all back on. And he's already very particular where each one goes.

You can tell already Ike has played with it since he doesn't quite know how to lace something up... what a goof.

On this page there is also a pocket for a little cell phone that Ike likes and the paper and pencil.

This page is fun. Each piece of money has a different picture under it to show things you can buy and number 10 is a picture of a church/temple for tithing.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this page too. It turned out so cute. I just made a garage for a little hot wheels car that Ike can drive around to the library and park and whatnot. So fun.

This book was pretty time consuming but TOTALLY worth it. I was so excited to have Ike not put it down at church. He loved it and I'm glad that I have the crafty ability to do things like this! But I'm glad its done for now.. and onto other projects!!

Here is a list of things I want to finish before our baby girl gets here...

1. Crib set - its all cut out I just need to start sewing it together.)

2. Bows - Most of them are made I just need to put them on clips and put a center on the flowers.

3. dresses and skirts for baby - I have so much fabric that I want to make her dresses and skirts out of

4. A car playmat - Also had one of these growing up and I remember playing with it for HOURS on end. It will be a good activity for Ike when I feed the baby or need to get things done around the house

5. Curtains - we have curtains but I have wanted to make them thicker to keep cold air out in winter and warm air out in the summer.. I have the fabric I just need to do it.

Well that's all I can think of right now.. but i'm sure there is more I need to craft
